Firefly Permanent Lighting Experts (“Firefly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides permanent LED lighting design, sales, and installation services in Middle Tennessee. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website, use our home lighting visualizer, submit a quote request, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the “Services”).

Information you provide to us. When you submit a quote request or contact us, we collect the information you choose to share, which may include:

• Your name (first and last)
• Email address and phone number
• Street address, city, state, and ZIP code
• Details about your project, such as the areas of your home you would like quoted and any message you send us
• Photographs of your home that you upload to the visualizer to preview lighting scenes

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to keep the site secure and functioning.

Chat communications. Our website includes a chat widget operated through GoHighLevel (LeadConnector). Messages you send through the chat, along with identifying details you provide, are collected and stored by that platform on our behalf.

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your quote requests and contact you by phone, email, or text
• Prepare estimates and schedule consultations or installations
• Generate AI lighting previews of your home: photos you upload are processed by an AI image service to render the lighting scenes you select
• Communicate with you about your project, including through our chat widget
• Improve our website, visualizer, and services
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us operate our business, and only as needed:

• GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) — our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, which stores your contact details and quote request so we can follow up with you. GoHighLevel also powers the chat widget on our website.
• AI image processing — photos you upload to the visualizer are sent to an AI image-generation service to produce the lighting previews you requested.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — companies that host our website and store its data securely.
• Financing partner — if you choose to apply for financing, you will be directed to our third-party financing partner (Wisetack). Your application and any information you submit there is governed by Wisetack’s own privacy policy, not this one.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Firefly, our customers, or others.

The visualizer works by using a photo of your home that you upload. Uploaded photos are used only to generate the lighting previews you requested and to support your quote request. We do not use your photos to advertise without your separate written permission, and we do not make them publicly available.

Our website uses essential cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to remember your preferences. Our chat widget and hosting providers may set functional cookies to deliver their services. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

If you provide your phone number, you consent to be contacted by phone or text message about your inquiry or project. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time, or ask us to stop calling.

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, follow up on your requests, and comply with our legal and recordkeeping obligations. Quote requests and related contact details are retained in our CRM. Uploaded photos are retained only as long as needed for your previews and project follow-up, after which they are deleted.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of the information we hold about you, and the right to opt out of marketing communications. Residents of certain states, including California (under the CCPA/CPRA) and Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Tennessee, and other states with consumer privacy laws, may have these rights.

Our Services are intended for homeowners and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable law requires consent). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
